The North Vancouver Wolf Pack defeated the Abbotsford Pilots at MSA Arena tonight, and moved to within two points of the North Delta Devils, who currently hold third place in the Tom Shaw Conference. The Wolf Pack got two goals from Quin Buckellew and Spencer Quon scored the winner in the third period. Both teams are back on the ice tomorrow night, with Abby visiting North Delta and the Wolf Pack hosting the Richmond Sockeyes.
For the fifth time in five meetings this season, the Aldergrove Kodiaks got the better of the Ridge Meadows Flames, defeating them by a score of 6-2 tonight in Maple Ridge. MacLean Hewitt scored a hat-trick for the Kodiaks, who notched three goals in the third period to blow open a close game. The two teams play each other again, next Wednesday in Aldergrove, where the Flames will have their last chance to avoid a regular season sweep.
