All four Conference Semi-Final series are on the go tonight as a big weekend in the 'Pac' begins. It should be a great night, but which game to choose?
The Delta Ice Hawks are in North Vancouver to face the Wolf Pack with an early start time of 6:45. The Hawks lead the series one game to none, but needed overtime to take game one on Tuesday night. Games 2,3 and 4 will be played over the next three nights, with tomorrow night's game also in North Vancouver.
The Abbotsford Pilots can take a stranglehold on their Briitain Conference Semi-Final series with a victory over Mission City tonight at MSA Arena. The Pilots lead the series two games to none and have had little trouble in the first two games. Mission City has been playing tough, but are up against a really hot team, and have been out-shot 92-33 in the series. Face-off is 7:30.
The Ridge Meadows Flames will host the Aldergrove Kodiaks tonight and tomorrow at the Cam Neely Arena. The series is tied at one game each, and the underdog Flames, led by goalie Wes McLeod, have stayed with the Kodiaks thus far. McLeod has shown he's capable of stealing a game, stopping 109 shots in the first two games for a .939 save percentage. 7:30 Face-off.
The North Delta Devils will hope that home ice will give them a boost as they look to even their series with the Richmond Sockeyes. In the series opener, last night in Richmond, the Devils offence was held in check by a motivated Sockeyes group that controlled the flow of the game. The first goal might be key tonight, so expect the Devils to come out flying. It's a late start time tonight at 8:15.
