It was a thriller in North Delta tonight as the Devils erased a 2-0 Sockeyes lead with two goals in the last minute and a half, including the tying goal with less than a second remaining on the clock. Unfortunately for the Devils, Trevor Lima scored at 5:44 of the second overtime period to give Richmond a 3-2 victory. The Sockeyes now lead the series two games to none. Game three goes tomorrow night at Sungod Arena.

The Delta Ice Hawks have a 2-0 series lead after their 4-1 victory over the Wolf Pack in North Vancouver this evening. Aaron Merrick notched a hat-trick for Delta, giving him five goals in the first two games of the playoffs. The Hawks will look to take total control of the series when they face the Pack tomorrow night, again in North Vancouver.

The Abbotsford Pilots appear to be on the verge of advancing to the Brittain Conference Finals after tonight's 9-1 victory over the Mission City Outlaws. Abbotsford came out firing in the first period, out-shooting Mission City 19-4 and out-scoring them 6-0. The Outlaws will try to extend the series at home on Sunday night.

The Aldergrove Kodiaks have taken a two games to one lead in their best of seven series after beating the Ridge Meadows Flames 2-1 tonight. Mark Menicucci stopped 25 of 26 shots for the Kodiaks, and the Flames went 0 for 8 on the power-play in a very tight checking game. The Flames will try to even the series tomorrow night when they again host the Kodiaks in game four.
