Matt Bissett scored the winning goal in double-overtime as the Ridge Meadows Flames took game one of their series with the Aldergrove Kodiaks by a score of 4-3. It was the Flames first victory over the Kodiaks this season after going winless in six regular season meetings. It was a strange game that was scoreless after forty minutes, before the two teams exploded for six third period goals. The teams now get tomorrow off before meeting again Wednesday night in Aldergrove.
