The victory gives the Hawks a 1-0 lead in their best-of-seven first round playoff series. The Wolf Pack will get a chance to reply when they return home for game two on Friday night in North Van.
In Abbotsford this evening, the Pilots jumped out to a 2-0 first period lead and cruised to a convincing 5-1 victory over the Mission City Outlaws in the first game of their Brittain Conference Semi-Final. The series now switches to the Mission Leisure Centre for game two of the series on Thursday night.
