A few weeks ago it looked like the first three spots in the Brittain Conference were set in stone. Abbotsford was a dozen points up on Aldergrove, who were ten points up on third placed Ridge Meadows. But, a seven game winning streak by the Kodiaks has pulled them to within striking distance of the Pilots. The teams will face each other on Friday night in Abbotsford, in a game that could have a huge impact on the standings. The other race in the Conference, for the final playoff spot, is between Mission City and Port Moody. Both teams have struggled this season, but one of them will survive to see the postseason. Mission has a four point advantage, however, the teams face each other twice more in the regular season.
