The final third of the season sees the Shaw Conference divided into two outstanding races for playoff positions. The first race, will be a continuation of the season long battle for first place between the Richmond Sockeyes and the Delta Ice Hawks. These two teams seem to change positions on a daily basis, and they face each other twice more his season. With first and second place likely out of reach, the other race, for the final two playoff spots, has been fantastic for the last month, and should continue right down to the wire. The three-way battle, between North Vancouver, North Delta and Grandview, has seen each team in third place, as well as the basement. One thing is certain, the Shaw Conference is so strong, that a very good hockey club is going to find themselves on the outside looking in, when the regular season comes to a close.
