shaw conference races on display tonight

The Grandview Steelers have their backs against the wall going into their game tonight in Richmond. Trailing the North Vancouver Wolf Pack by two points in the race for the final playoff spot, the Steelers have just six games remaining to make their move. Grandview will most likely have to win, at least, four games to have a shot at the final playoff berth. They need to reel off some big victories, and there's no better time to start than tonight. The Sockeyes are in a race too, and can regain their four point advantage over Delta for the Shaw Conference lead. This season long race is looking like it will go right down to the wire.

While the North Vancouver Wolf Pack have to be paying attention to Grandview, and trying to clinch a playoff spot, their main focus is on using their three games in hand to close the gap on the third placed North Delta Devils. The Wolf Pack are six points back of the Devils, and the two teams will face each other twice before the end of the regular season. For the Mission City Outlaws, tonight's game is a chance to continue their improved play of late, and move a step closer to officially clinching the final Brittain Conference playoff spot.
