The Grandview Steelers cruised to 6-2 victory this afternoon over the visiting Ridge Meadows Flames. The win moves the Steelers back to within two points of North Vancouver in the race for the final Shaw Conference playoff spot. Grandview is idle until their next home date, Sunday versus Aldergrove. In the meantime, North Vancouver will play their three games in hand on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Grandview will keeping a close eye on each of those match-ups. Ridge Meadows plays Thursday in Mission, before facing their likely first round playoff opponent, Aldergrove Kodiaks at home on Friday night.
Finally, a reminder that the PJHL Prospects Game goes tomorrow evening at MSA Arena in Abbotsford. The best 16, 17 and 18 year old players will put on a great show for the fans, as well as a large number of scouts. Game time is 7 PM.
