saturday night hockey in the 'pac'

The Richmond Sockeyes will look to extend their lead atop the Shaw Conference to four points, this evening, when they face the Outlaws in Mission. The Sockeyes have won nine of their last ten games, and must not look past tonight's match-up, as they gear up for a show-down on Thursday versus the Delta Ice Hawks. That game has been circled on the calendar for weeks. The Outlaws, would appear to have a good chance of claiming the final Brittain Conference playoff spot, but haven'y clinched it yet. They lead the Port Moody Panthers by five points.

In Port Moody tonight, the Panthers will play host to the North Delta Devils. The Panthers are coming off of a bad loss, last night in Abbotsford, and will try to get back to the work ethic that has been noticeable recently. The Devils are focused on clinching third place in the Shaw Conference, and tonight will try and stretch their lead over North Vancouver to six points. North Delta has only five games remaining on their regular season schedule, and with two of them against North Van, will want to claim the two points tonight.
