The Final Four - The Usual Suspects

This year marks the fifth season since the PJHL began using a conference based system for deciding it's playoff teams and eventual Champion. Since the change in format, there have been only four teams who have advanced to the league's final series. Those four teams are at it again this year as they battle in the Conference Semi-Finals beginning tomorrow evening.

Richmond Sockeyes - in the previous four seasons, the Sockeyes have advanced to the PJHL Finals twice in 2009 and 2011. On both occasions, the Sockeyes defeated Abbotsford to bring the title back to Richmond.

Delta Ice Hawks - The defending PJHL Champions from 2012, the Hawks have played for the Championship one other time in the last four years, losing in 2010 to the Kodiaks.

Aldergrove Kodiaks - Since entering the 'Pac' in 2008, the Kodiaks have made it to the Championship series one time , winning it all in 2010 when they defeated the Delta Ice Hawks in six games.

Abbotsford Pilots - the Pilots have not won a PJHL Championship since the conference format was introduced, but they have represented the Brittain Conference in the Finals for three of the last four years.

The rivalries within the Conferences make these battles much more fun to watch, and with all the recent history, these two series are going to be full of intensity. Two trips to the PJHL Championship series are on the line starting tomorrow night! Pick your favourites and grab a ring- side seat for some great junior hockey action!
