wolf pack rolling - panthers break slide

The streak is over. Tonight in Port Moody, the Panthers defeated the Mission City Outlaws 6-4 and have pulled to within three points of the Outlaws for the final Brittain Conference playoff berth. Port Moody, who had not won a game since November, and Mission City each have four games remaining on the their schedules. It aint over 'til it's over.

In North Vancouver, the Wolf Pack knocked off the Richmond Sockeyes by a score of 4-3. Marcus Houck scored the winning goal, late in the third period, to lift the Pack into a third place tie with the North Delta Devils. It's going to be an interesting couple of weeks, as North Van and North Delta will face each other twice before the end of the regular season. For Richmond, the loss means they have just a four point lead over second placed Delta Ice Hawks. Both teams have four games remaining on their schedules, and will face-off against each other once more.
