Tuesday: Week 18 gets underway tonight when the Mission City Outlaws travel to Ladner to face the Delta Ice Hawks. With their victory over Port Moody last week, the Outlaws have the fourth Brittain Conference playoff spot firmly in their grasp. Nothing is for sure in junior hockey, however, and the Outlaws must continue to improve through their final twelve games. The Ice Hawks have been keeping up, as best they can, with Richmond's torrid pace atop the Shaw Conference standings. Delta is 7-2-1 in their last ten games and are waiting to pounce whenever the Sockeyes falter. With a victory tonight, they would be only two points behind, with a January 31 date with Richmond circled on their calendar. It's been a tremendous race, since September, and is showing no signs of slowing down. Game time is 7:30.
