wednesday night double-header

The North Delta Devils travel to Aldergrove to face the Kodiaks in one of two games scheduled in the 'Pac' tonight. The Devils have a chance to put some more distance between themselves and the North Vancouver Wolf Pack, who are chasing them down for third place in the Tom Shaw Conference. The Kodiaks, who have been dominant for the last couple of months, are still trying to track down the Abbotsford Pilots. The only problem has been that the Pilots have been just as dominant over that stretch and the Kodiaks have been able to gain little ground. Even if the Kodiaks can maintain their fantastic pace, it would still take a fairly major meltdown by the Pilots for Aldergrove to catch them. As for the Pilots, they are also in action versus the Ridge Meadows Flames, tonight at the Cam Neely Arena. Abbotsford still has first place over-all in their sights, with four weeks remaining on their regular schedule. They are currently three points behind the Sockeyes in the PJHL standings. Ridge Meadows looks to be locked in at third place in the Harold Brittain Conference, and are trying to find some consistency before the playoffs arrive.
