devils upset sockeyes, kodiaks make push for first

The North Delta Devils got a pair of goals from Max Feidler, and 33 saves from Tyler Read, en route to a 4-3 victory over the Richmond Sockeyes. The Devils are now solidly in third place, six points up on North Vancouver, and eight points ahead of Grandview. Richmond sees their eight game winning streak ended. The Sockeyes battled back after allowing three goals in the first 7:47, but came up just short. In Mission, the Aldergrove Kodiaks broke a 1-1 deadlock after forty minutes, with a pair of third period goals, and knocked of the Mission City Outlaws 3-1. The victory gives the Kodiaks 45 points in 35 games, and leaves them just five points behind Conference leading Abbotsford. The Outlaws sit in fourth place, eleven points back of Ridge Meadows in the standings.
