The win increases the Kodiaks current winning streak to an amazing ten games. Aldergrove, who have one game in hand, are seven points behind the Brittain Conference leaders, Abbotsford Pilots, who have been winning at a impressive pace and making it difficult for the Kodiaks to gain ground. Grandview, who remain tied for fourth place in the Shaw Conference, have fallen three games below .500 and will have to turn things around quickly, to avoid falling out of the playoff picture. North Van, who are tied with the Steelers with 32 points, have three games in hand.
