Ten Random Notes regarding the upcoming series between the Abbotsford Pilots and the Aldergrove Kodiaks . . .

1 - The Pilots finished nine points ahead in the standings, but both teams had amazing 18-4-0 records in the second half of the season.

2 - Pilots goalie Aaron Oakley had a sparkling 1.50 GAA and .913 Save Percentage in the Conference Semi-Finals.

3 - The Kodiaks Scott McHaffie leads the 'Pac' in playoff scoring with twelve points (3G,9A) in five games.

4 - Thirteen different players scored goals for the Pilots in their first round sweep of the Outlaws, including five defencemen.

5 - Stefan Gonzales, voted the PJHL's top D-Man, played only two games in the first round due to injury.

6 - Abby's Brett Kolins leads all defencemen in playoff scoring with six points (3G,3A) in four games.

7 - The Kodiaks won 18 of their final 22 games. A massive improvement over their first half total of 10 wins.

8 - Kodiaks goalie Mark Menicucci was outstanding in the first round, posting a 1.93 GAA and .928 Save Percentage.

9 - Abbotsford's Brad Parker will miss the first game of the series while serving a suspension.

10 - The Pilots won the season series 4-2, but the last
meeting was more of an exhibition as the Kodiaks chose to dress eight affiliated players.
