Brandon Dolby's goal at 7:58 of the second overtime period lifted the Aldergrove Kodiaks to a 5-4 victory over the Abbotsford Pilots and a two games to one lead in the Brittain Conference Finals. There was some controversy as the Pilots argued that the whistle had sounded before the puck crossed the goal-line, but after a short conference the officials allowed the goal to stand. It was a dramatic conclusion to an outstanding game that saw nine different goal scorers and tremendous physical play throughout. Both clubs gave it everything they had tonight and the fans at MSA were thoroughly entertained. The Kodiaks had to battle back all night long and didn't have the lead on the scoreboard until the overtime winner. The final shots on goal after almost 78 minutes of hockey were even at 43. The fourth game of this series will be played at the Mission Leisure Centre on Sunday at 8:30 PM.
