KODIAKS WIN TO SWEEP SEASON SERIES

MacLean Hewitt scored three times as the Aldergrove Kodiaks continued their dominance over Ridge Meadows and crushed the Flames 9-2. Aldergove scored three times in each period and dominated throughout the game, outshooting the Flames 48-29. It was the Kodiaks sixth victory in six games versus the Flames this season. Aldergrove moves to within three points of first placed Abbotsford with tonight's victory, but the Pilots have two games in hand. For Ridge Meadows, the Kodiaks have been by far the most difficult opponent this season. In fact, if you remove the six games versus the Kodiaks from their record, the Flames are playing .500 hockey against the rest of the league. Ridge Meadows has approximately two weeks to figure out a way to deal with the Kodiaks, as it appears almost certain they will be facing Aldergrove in a best of seven series.
