Mike Nolan scored in double overtime to give the Ridge meadows Flames a 3-2 victory over the Mission City Outlaws. The Outlaws had a 2-0 lead after twenty minutes that could have been a much larger margin if not for the goaltending of Wes McLeod. McLeod, who finished the night with 38 saves, kept the game close enough for the Flames to battle back in the third period and force overtime. The Flames now prepare for their first round playoff series with Aldergrove, while the Outlaws have one more regular season game versus Grandview on Sunday afternoon.
The Abbotsford Pilots scored four goals in each period and pounded the Port Moody Panthers by a score of 12-0. It was the fifth win in a row for the Pilots who out-shot the Panthers by a whopping margin of 68-15. The Pilots now wait to begin their first round series versus Mission City on Tuesday night, while Port Moody will conclude it's season at home tomorrow evening versus Aldergrove.
