The Grandview Steelers knocked off the Panthers in Port Moody tonight, by a score of 6-1. The victory moves the Steelers into a fourth place tie with the North Vancouver Wolf Pack in the Shaw Conference playoff race. The Wolf Pack dropped a spirited 4-3 decision to Abbotsford, opening the door for Grandview to pull even with them. Abbotsford is leading the Brittain Conference race, seven points clear of Aldergrove. In North Delta, the Devils lost to the Delta Ice Hawks 4-1. The Devils are holding down third place, in this fantastic race with North Van and Grandview, but after tonight's results, there is only four points separating third place from fifth. The Ice Hawks victory has them trailing the Richmond Sockeyes by just one point for the Shaw Conference lead.
