sockeyes battle back to win

The Richmond Sockeyes overcame a 2-0 first period deficit and defeated the Granview Steelers 3-2 at Burnaby Winter Club this afternoon. The victory was the sixth in a row for the Sockeyes, and moves them three points ahead of the Delta Ice Hawks in the Tom Shaw Conference race. The Sockeyes also have a game in hand. The Steelers, on the other hand, remain tied for fourth place in the Tom Shaw, and have lost seven of their last ten games. With only ten games remaining on their regular season schedule, Grandview will be looking to turn things around when they travel to face the Aldergrove Kodiaks on Wednesday night.
