sockeyes back in first, devils beat panthers

The Richmond Sockeyes are once again in first place in the Shaw Conference, and the entire PJHL, after a 9-1 thrashing of the Mission City Outlaws at Minoru tonight. The Sockeyes scored three times in each period on their way to their fourth consecutive victory. Richmond is in Maple Ridge tomorrow night, while the Outlaws have a week off before facing Port Moody, next Thursday in a game with playoff implications. At Sungod Arena, the home town North Delta Devils knocked off Port Moody by a score of 4-2. The Devils have opened a four point lead, in the race for third, over North Vancouver, and are at home again on Saturday night. Port Moody are at home on Saturday night.
