another busy saturday night in the 'pac'

As usual, it's another busy Saturday night in the PJHL. The North Delta Devils are at home to face the red-hot Richmond Sockeyes at Sungod Arena tonight. North Delta are working towards locking up third place in the Shaw Conference standings, as they have pulled six points ahead of North Vancouver and Grandview. The Sockeyes are rolling, with seven victories in a row, and are four points up on second placed Delta, with a game in hand. In North Vancouver, the Wolf Pack will attempt to close the gap on North Delta, but it won't be easy. Their opposition, the Aldergrove Kodiaks have reeled off a remarkable ten games in a row, and have almost forgotten what it's like to lose. They are doing their best to chase down Abbotsford for the Brittain Conference lead. Finally, in Port Moody, the Panthers will attempt to end a lengthy losing skid when they host the Ridge Meadows Flames at the Port Moody Arena. The Panthers have shipped out most of their older players, as they look to build for the future. The Flames, meanwhile, have allowed 21 goals in their last three games and will be looking to tighten things up and notch a victory.
