Sockeyes Take Back Top Spot - Flames Win

The Abbotsford Pilots winning streak has finally ended, after eight games, with a 4-1 loss in Richmond tonight. The Pilots, who are missing several players to suspension, lead the Brittain Conference by seven points over Aldergrove. The Sockeyes victory puts them back into top spot in the Shaw Conference and the PJHL overall standings. In Mission, The Ridge Meadows Flames downed the home town Outlaws by a score of 6-1. The Flames fired 51 shots at Mission City goaltender Jared Knott, and controlled the play for much of the game. It was a good crowd at the Mission Leisure Centre, as the Outlaws fan appreciation night was a success.
