Pilots and Flames Win Big

The Abbotsford Pilots continue their solid play, and continue to run away with the Brittain Conference lead. Tonight they out-shot Grandview 47-19 and outscored them 5-1. The Pilots have won six in a row. The Steelers remain in fourth place of the Shaw Conference, three points behind North Delta. Meanwhile, the Ridge Meadows Flames broke out of a scoring slump in a big way, pounding the Port Moody Panthers 6-1. Mike Nolan had a hat trick and the Flames move to within five points of second placed Aldergrove. Port Moody worked hard tonight, out-shooting Ridge Meadows, but couldn't capitalize on the chances.
