Kodiaks streak now at Seven Games

The Aldergrove Kodiaks stretched their winning streak to seven games, defeating the Delta Ice Hawks 3-2, and pulled to within seven points of Conference leading Abbotsford. The Kodiaks struck quickly, scoring two early goals, and took a 2-0 lead to the first period break. Delta scored the only goal of the second, and Michael Olson-Eyre tied the game at two, midway through the third period. Anthony Brito was assessed a double minor for high sticking off of the next faceoff, and Roshen Jaswal scored the winning goal moments later. A very entertaining game. Delta leads the Shaw Conference, by one point, but have played three more games than Richmond, who hold down second place.
