The Aldergrove Kodiaks continued their impressive play, denying the Richmond Sockeyes a chance to take over first place, and scoring 5-3 victory at home tonight. It was a see-saw battle that was decided by a late goal by Stephen Ryan. The Kodiaks added an empty net goal. The Sockeyes still have a game in hand on the front runners, Delta and Abbotsford, and can take over first place with a win tomorrow evening over Port Moody at home. Aldergrove can climb to within nine points of Abbotsford with a victory in Mission tomorrow. It's a big hill to climb, but the Kodiaks have been on fire, of late. It was a very entertaining game tonight.
