The Delta Ice Hawks offense came to life tonight, in a big way, as they knocked off the Port Moody Panthers 12-2. Aaron Merrick had four goals for the Ice Hawks, and now has 22 goals in 22 games. With the victory, Delta is back in first place in the Shaw Conference, one point up on Richmond. The Ice Hawks are on the ice again tomorrow night, when they face the Kodiaks in Aldergrove. For Port Moody it was another tough night, as this very young group of players tries to close the gap on Mission City, in the Brittain Conference playoff race. The Panthers remain four points back of the Outlaws.
