The Delta Ice Hawks losing streak ended tonight, but, their winless streak reached five games, as they played the North Delta Devils to a 2-2 tie. The first period was all Ice Hawks, as they spent nine minutes on the power-play and out-shot the Devils 15-4, but they could not find a way to score. The Devils picked up the pace in the second period and led 1-0 after 40 minutes. In the third, the teams traded goals before Aaron Merrick tied the game with 4:23 remaining. There were great chances, but no goals in the extra frames. The tie moves Delta to with a single point of first placed Richmond, while the Devils remains five points behind the Ice Hawks, in third place.
