The Grandview Steelers won their fourth in a row tonight, defeating the Shaw Conference leading Ice Hawks 5-4 in Delta. It was a chippy affair, full of hard hits, penalties and short handed goals. The victory moves the Steelers (11-8-2) into third place, one point ahead of North Delta. Grandview will be in North Delta on Saturday night. Delta's fourth loss of the season makes the division race very interesting. The Ice Hawks do not play again until next week, and if Richmond wins both their games this week, they will be just two points back when visit Delta next Tuesday night. So, you might want to circle that one on your calendar.
