Kodiaks Blank Outlaws

The Mission City Outlaws and Aldergrove Kodiaks played 33 minutes of scoreless hockey tonight, before the Kodiaks erupted for two goals in thirty seconds. The teams then played the final 26 minutes without another scoring play. Mark Menicucci stopped all 31 shots he faced to record his first PJHL shutout. The victory evens the Kodiaks record at 10-10-1 and moves them to with five points of first place in the Brittain Conference. With the loss, the Outlaws remain two points up on Port Moody for the last playoff spot in the Conference. Aldergrove now has a week off, while Mission City hosts Abbotsford tomorrow night.
