Three games, six teams, eight goals and three shut-outs? It was a night for the defense and the 'tenders as goals were hard to come by on Friday night. In North Delta, the Devils got back to their winning ways, ending the Grandview Steelers winning streak with a 3-0 victory. Ridge Meadows went into Port Moody and blanked the struggling Panthers by the same 3-0 score. The Flames are closing in on Aldergrove for second place, and they face the Kodiaks on Friday night. Meanwhile, the Richmond Sockeyes have pulled to within two points of the Delta Ice Hawks with 2-0 road win over North Vancouver Wolf Pack. The victory sets up a huge game on Tuesday night, when the Sockeyes battle the 'hawks for first place in the Shaw Conference.
